Death Note: Season 2 Episode 01 (Comprehension)
"Huh... this world... it's boring." said I.
I, Light Yagami is now dead and I don't know what to do now. My reign is over and it was all my mistake... just one mistake that I did which was trusting Mikami. Hmmm... my final mistake. I now feel bored too because this world, the world of Shinigami is always the same and I personally think it is boring. Now at least I could understand why Ryuk throw away his book in the human world but... that is not the feeling that I am having, I am thinking about the world... my world.
"Light? Up to something?" asks Ryuk.
"Ryuk, umm... can I go back to my world? Without that stupid condition of Shinigamis?"
"Oh Light I thought you were the most intelligent person in the human world but you ask the same question again and again! No you can't go back until you become a Shinigami Light and it is not a condition, it's a rule!" replies Ryuk
"Rule huh? Seems right Ryuk... well I will tell you later whenever I would think about this." I responded.
Think!!?? I already made my decision final! I will never ever... be a cold blooded eternal Shinigami! But if I don't then I won't be able to see the world again, a world without Kira. Hmmm... well I can trick Ryuk to show me the world but... but at what cost? Would he offer a deal to me? It has already been 5 months since I left the world and as per the rules, I cannot go to hell or heaven so here am I. If Ryuk was to make a deal he would have done it earlier so why isn't he forcing me on becoming a Shinigami? Is he afraid of me? or is it something else? No, maybe I am overthinking this. I don't know for sure but I am having a feeling that I should try. What if Ryuk gets falls into the trap and allows me some time in my world? Let me try.
"Hey Ryuk! I am ready to become a Shinigami." said I.
"Huh? What? You're ready? After 5 months?" replied Ryuk astonished.
"Well if you don't want me to become one it is okay I am fine." I responded. "I was just thinking to become a Shinigami so I can peek into my world but... wait what if my world is no more? What if you are lying?"
"What? You don't believe me?" said Ryuk.
"In my lifespan of being Kira, I have learnt one thing: Never trust a Shinigami." I replied with a weird face. "If you want me to believe you than grant me some time in my world!"
"Grant you some time!!?? You can't spend more than 13 seconds in the human world with your soul trapped here!" shouted out Ryuk.
Well I have to say that Ryuk is pretty dumb when it comes to quick conversations. I got him. 13 seconds is more than enough for me to see my world.
"Okay Ryuk, okay. I agree with our deal but I would only become a Shinigami if I think my world has collapsed." said I.
Ryuk started to laugh. The laugh that he gave me many times before, he wicked laugh. He only laughs when he knows I am going to be fooled or something else. Hmm... what is it?
"Why are you laughing?" I asked.
"As you said yourself, you would only become a Shinigami when you will think that your world is collapsed but now in these 13 seconds, you will not only think but see that the human world is now in a more worst condition then being collapsed. replied Ryuk smiling. "You have to hold my finger when I will tell you too and imagine a place where you want to be in these 13 seconds, but remember that this is your only first and final moment of seeing the human world without being a Shinigami."
I understood that Ryuk was afraid that someone will catch him breaking the rules but I was still worried about his laugh. Why would he laugh at me? After 5 months is this the moment for him to laugh?
"Light! Hold it!" shouted Ryuk in a haste.
I hold his finger and there was only one place I could imagine, city's central market. I have now entered my world. The market is same as it was no changes that I can notice. It looks like people are still afraid of Kira. I should probably not roam around, oh, a TV!

"Well, were you able to see what you wanted to?" asked Ryuk smiling.
Ryuk's laugh. I get it now. I need to think, think hard enough to fix all this.
"Ryuk..." I said. "You told me about a special death note, remember?"
"Oh yes I do. It's just a myth that we Shinigami's have been hearing since a lot of time. It is nothing new." replied Ryuk.
"No Ryuk, explain the death note to me. The special one." I ordered.
"It was said that when we Shinigamis were created, the one who created us also created a special death note. This note was always kept by the king but we haven't seen anything like this with him. The note had a special page in the back, we call it the White Page. Those name that were written on the page, those people can be brought back to life if their physical body is able to be restored. But Light, the king can only write the name and total 6 names were allowed and as soon the six names were written, the king will loose his life span and will become dust. But there's nothing to be afraid of because this note doesn't exists!" explained Ryuk.
A special death note, a white page? I never imagined that death note could do resurrections but. I have to do it.
"What are you planning Light?" asked Ryuk.
"Ryuk, I know I cannot change this world." I said. "This world is now beyond my reach. I know I hate that guy, I hate him the most! But to make peace again in this world, I need him. There is no one else who is coming in my mind right now because the world lost one of it's legends because of me. If he comes back, there is a certainty that I can plan something more but, to think of planning I must need him."
"Who?" asked Ryuk.
"L" I whispered.

Holy crap, this shit is awsome...Well u could have used the death eraser which works in the same way but was in the the original manga...
ReplyDeleteFirst of all thank you for your appreciation and yes I know about the death eraser but if you notice the logical concept, a death eraser can bring back all thousands of people killed by Light and I do not want that. I want the resurrections to be limited and trust me on this, this concept will bring hard choices and intensive scenes too! Well, thanks again and have a good day!
